(September 14, 2011: Braintree, MA 02184) The Newton North Tigers topped the host Braintree Wamps volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waltham for a non-league test on Friday, September 16. Newton North will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

The Wamps (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Milton gained a win over Norwood (Norwood, MA), 3-0, in a league test.
