Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Keystone Oaks prevails South Allegheny
(February 2, 2012: Pittsburgh, PA 15216) Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), 59-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Keystone Oaks upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a WPIAL AA 5 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-8.
Next up, the Gladiators encounter the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a WPIAL AA 5 game, on Monday, February 6. South Allegheny will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 74-34 league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
