(January 21, 2009: New Egypt, NJ 08533) The South River Rams basketball team (South River, NJ), was overwhelmed 73-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ)

The Warriors now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington City for a Burlco - Freedom battle on Friday, January 23.

The Rams (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Keyport triumphed over Hudson Regional (Highlands, NJ), 68-52, in a league battle.
