Oregon High School Basketball - Hillsboro overwhelmed by Tualatin
(February 10, 2012: Tualatin, OR 97062) The Tualatin Timberwolves basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Hillsboro Spartans to 17 in the Timberwolves league victory on Friday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Newberg for a 6A Pacific contest on Tuesday, February 14. Tualatin will meet a Tigers team coming off a 40-39 league win over Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 9-12.
The Spartans (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against McMinnville (McMinnville, OR). The Grizzlies come into the 6A Pacific contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, McMinnville trounced Century (Hillsboro, OR), 50-32, in a league contest.
