California High School Basketball - Esperanza overwhelmed by Los Alamitos

Los Alamitos Griffins basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host
Esperanza Aztecs to 47 in the Griffins league victory on Wednesday.
The Griffins now sport a 22-1 record. They play next when they travel to
Fountain Valley for a
Sunset contest on Friday, February 6.
Los Alamitos will meet a Barons team coming off a
41-40 league loss to
Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Barons record now stands at 7-16.
The Aztecs (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against
Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors come into the
Sunset contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest,
Newport Harbor was routed by
Marina (Huntington Beach, CA),
71-60, in a league contest.
