Kansas High School Basketball - Macksville overwhelmed by St. John

(February 17, 2012: Macksville, KS 67557) The Macksville Mustangs basketball squad (Macksville, KS), was trounced 59-26 in Friday's league outing with the visiting St. John Tigers (St. John, KS)

The Tigers (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Otis-Bison (Otis, KS). The Cougars go into the Central Prairie outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Otis-Bison smashed Western Plains (Ransom, KS), 45-10, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 1-18 record. They take the field next when they host Hodgeman County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 21. Macksville will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 63-36 league loss to Bucklin (Bucklin, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-12.
