(December 9, 2011: Portsmouth, OH 45662) The Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), 47-39 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH). The Flyers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, St. Joseph Central was beaten by Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH), 53-38, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peebles for a non-league match on Saturday, December 17.
