Texas High School Basketball - Meridian edges St. Andrew's
(December 10, 2011: Austin, TX 78735) The Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) basketball nipped the host St. Andrew's Crusaders (Austin, TX), 29-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Kopperl (Kopperl, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Kopperl was tipped by Buckholts (Buckholts, TX), 64-20, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Stephen's Episcopal for a Southwest Prep - South test on Tuesday, December 13. St. Andrew's will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.
