Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilbur Cross falls to Guilford

(February 1, 2012: New Haven, CT 06511) The Guilford Indians basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Wilbur Cross Governors to 40 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hand for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest on Friday, February 3. Guilford will meet a Tigers team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.

The Governors (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the Southern Connecticut - Oronoque contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, East Haven was defeated by Hand (Madison, CT), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
