The Mustangs now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Caldwell Parish for a 3A District 3 battle on Friday, February 3. Avoyelles will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-28 league win over Buckeye (Buckeye, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 18-8.
The Tigers (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Jena (Jena, LA). The Giants come into the 3A District 3 battle with a 1-21 record. In their last battle, Jena was nudged by Vidalia (Vidalia, LA), 75-24, in a league battle.
