Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) football defeated the visiting
Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD),
41-20 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the
Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a
Southern Maryland bout, on Thursday, September 20.
Patuxent will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their
14-13 non-league loss to
North Point (Waldorf, MD).
The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against
Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars come into the
Southern Maryland game with a 1-1 record. In their last game,
Stone was dropped by
Linganore (Frederick, MD),
49-15, in a non-league game.
