(August 26, 2011: Collierville, TN 38017) The Collierville Dragons football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Hillcrest Vikings to 12 in the Dragons non-league victory on Friday.
The Dragons now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston for a AAA District 15 battle on Friday, September 2. Collierville will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 33-14 non-league win over Bolton (Arlington, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
Coming up next, the Vikings face the Oakhaven Hawks (Memphis, TN) in a AA District 16 battle, on Friday, September 2. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
