(November 19, 2011: Wylie, TX 75098) The Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX), 35-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Newman Smith was tipped by Berkner (Richardson, TX), 43-39, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakeland for a non-league test on Monday, November 21. Princeton will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 45-31 non-league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-4.
