Marksville Tigers (Marksville, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting
Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), by a margin of
52-38.
The Tigers (17-8) will now prepare for their outing against
Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs go into the
3A District 3 outing with a 9-14 record. In their last outing,
Avoyelles was beaten by
Vidalia (Vidalia, LA),
69-62, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Sacred Heart for a
2A District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 22.
Pine Prairie will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a
60-48 league loss to
Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-15.
