Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Conard drops to Avon
(February 25, 2010: West Hartford, CT 06107) In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Avon Falcons ice hockey team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Conard Chieftains.
The Falcons (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Enfield by East Catholic (Manchester, CT), 2-0, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Chieftains encounter the Hall/Southington Warrior-Knights (West Hartford, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 27. Conard will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Warrior-Knights enter the test with a 7-11 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT).
