California High School Basketball - Big Pine can't hold off Baker

(January 6, 2012: Baker, CA 92309) The Baker Braves basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Big Pine Warriors to 38 in the Braves league victory on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Immanuel Christian for a Hi-Lo contest on Tuesday, January 10. Baker will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 51-23 league win over Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-8.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA). The Tigers come into the Hi-Lo contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Lee Vining edged Trona (Trona, CA), 37-28, in a league contest.
