(September 12, 2008: Carlsbad, CA 92009) La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), 52-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Diablos come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mission Viejo trounced Redondo (Redondo Beach, CA), 58-20, in a non-league challenge.
