(December 15, 2011: Daytona Beach, FL 32124) In Thursday's non-league outing, the Father Lopez Green Waves (Daytona Beach, FL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jones Fightin' Tigers (Orlando, FL), by a count of 70-49.
The Green Waves (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Warner Christian (South Daytona, FL). The Eagles go into the 3A District 4 outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Warner Christian was crushed by Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL), 63-40, in a league outing.
The Fightin' Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Edgewater for a non-league outing on Friday, December 16. Jones will encounter a Fightin' Eagles squad coming off a 71-52 league win over Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL). The Fightin' Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
