(October 3, 2008: Wilmington, CA 90744) The Banning Pilots football team (Wilmington, CA), was beaten 23-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA)

The Toreadors (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Serra achieved victory over Redondo (Redondo Beach, CA), 48-28, in a non-league challenge.
