Arizona High School Basketball - Willow Canyon topples O'Connor

(December 16, 2011: Surprise, AZ 85374) In Friday's non-league outing, the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 60-50.

The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Coyotes go into the I Section I outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Centennial was topped by Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ), 80-68, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a I Section III outing on Saturday, December 17. O'Connor will encounter a Jaguar squad coming off a 66-34 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguar record now stands at 7-2.
