(October 21, 2011: Homestead, FL 33030) The Palmetto Panthers football team (Miami, FL), was tipped 24-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Dade Buccaneers (Homestead, FL)
The Buccaneers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southridge (Miami, FL). The Spartans come into the 8A District 16 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Southridge was tipped by Norland (Miami, FL), 20-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coral Reef for a 8A District 16 bout on Thursday, October 27. Palmetto will clash with a Barracudas squad coming off a 41-33 league win over Killian (Miami, FL). The Barracudas record now stands at 6-1.
