(December 8, 2011: Simi Valley, CA 93063) Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA), 74-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Simi Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Pioneers travel to St. Francis (La Canada, CA) to encounter the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-1. St. Francis lost 80-67 in their recent non-league bout against Hart (Newhall, CA)

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Flintridge Prep Rebels (La Canada, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. South Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA).
