(December 27, 2011: Springfield, IL 62704) The Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) basketball felled the visiting North Lawndale College Prep Phoenix (Chicago, IL), 52-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Senators (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Grayslake Central defeated Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 54-47, in a non-league test.
The Phoenix now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Island for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. North Lawndale College Prep will clash with a Rocks squad coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rocks record now stands at 6-3.
