(December 4, 2008: Seffner, FL 33584) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) and the host Armwood Hawks (Seffner, FL), saw Wharton's basketball squad hold off Armwood by a count of 49-46.

With the victory, Wharton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sickles (Tampa, FL) to play the Gryphons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6.
