(January 5, 2012: Scottsdale, AZ 85254) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), witnessed Horizon's basketball squad top North Canyon by a margin of 56-40.

The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds go into the I Section III test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Chaparral went down by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 60-59, in a league test.

The Rattlers now own a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a I Section III test on Friday, January 6. North Canyon will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 68-58 league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 9-4.
