California High School Basketball - Selma can't hold off Madera South
(December 10, 2011: Madera, CA 93637) The Madera South Stallions basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Selma Bears to 37 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Stallions now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Le Grand for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Madera South will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-40 non-league loss to Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
