Arizona High School Basketball - Red Mountain crushes Desert Ridge

(January 27, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85212) Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 68-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Red Mountain upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Hawks in a I Section II bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 24-2. Highland won 64-37 in their recent league bout against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a I Section II bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Desert Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-22 season record. The Pumas enter the game with a 8-16 record after their 64-37 league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ).
