(December 27, 2011: Vicksburg, MS 39180) The Port Gibson Blue Waves basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Vicksburg Gators to 55 in the Blue Waves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Waves now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Port Gibson will confront a Vikings team coming off a 75-41 non-league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Vikings record now stands at 7-7.

The Gators (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings enter the 6A Region 3 contest with a 7-8 record.
