(March 1, 2008: Woodland Hills, CA 91364) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the visiting Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad knock off Fairfax by a score of 65-55.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 25-3 on the campaign. The Toreadors host Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 27-4. Chino Hills lost 62-57 in their recent non-league challenge against King (Riverside, CA)

Next up, the Lions battle the Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 3. Fairfax will attempt to improve on its 25-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 25-6 record after their 90-80 non-league loss to West Valley (Hemet, CA).
