Florida High School Basketball - Venice trounces Booker

Venice Indians (Venice, FL) basketball crushed the visiting
Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL),
57-24 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (12-1) will now prepare for their test against
North Port (North Port, FL). The Bobcats go into the
5A District 12 test with a 8-6 record. In their last test,
North Port walloped
Southeast (Bradenton, FL),
66-51, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Avon Park for a
4A District 10 test on Thursday, January 22.
