Texas High School Basketball - Cinco Ranch thwarts Memorial

(December 16, 2011: Katy, TX 77494) The Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) basketball felled the visiting Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX), 48-35 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Hightower defeated Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX), 45-36, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellaire for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Memorial will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-3.
