Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Trumbull defeated by Ridgefield
(February 15, 2012: Ridgefield, CT 06877) Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) followers left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Trumbull Golden Eagles (Trumbull, CT), 6-1 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Staples/Weston/Shelton for a FCIAC challenge on Saturday, February 18. Ridgefield will play a Wreckers team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Wreckers record now stands at 6-10.
The Golden Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, New Milford nipped Barlow (Redding, CT), 3-2, in a league challenge.
