California High School Football - Sheldon sneaks past Laguna Creek

(September 23, 2011: Sacramento, CA 95829) The Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) football edged the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 22-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a Delta River bout, on Friday, October 7. Sheldon will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA). The Marauders come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Jesuit was tipped by Franklin (Elk Grove, CA), 35-6, in a non-league game.
