(January 17, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85033) The Browne Bruins basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was nudged 45-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ)
The Rattlers now possess a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a I Section III battle on Friday, January 20. North Canyon will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 62-44 league win over Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 10-10.
The Bruins (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers come into the I Section I battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Millennium was nudged by Westview (Avondale, AZ), 55-51, in a league battle.
