California High School Basketball - Yosemite ripped by Sierra

(February 3, 2012: Tollhouse, CA 93667) The Sierra Chieftains basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Yosemite Badgers to 45 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kerman for a North Sequoia contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sierra will meet a Lions team coming off a 58-36 league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-11.

The Badgers (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Madera, CA). The Hawks enter the North Sequoia contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Liberty was routed by Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA), 53-42, in a league contest.
