California High School Basketball - Golden Valley holds off Canyon
(February 7, 2012: Santa Clarita, CA 91321) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) and the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), saw Golden Valley's basketball squad hold off Canyon by a count of 67-64.
With the victory, Golden Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Saugus (Saugus, CA) to play the Centurions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Centurions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Hart Indians (Newhall, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
