(January 6, 2012: Arden Hills, MN 55112) Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting White Bear Lake Bears (White Bear Lake, MN), 47-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Mounds View upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN) to encounter the Raiders in a Suburban East bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Cretin-Derham Hall lost 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)

Next up, the Bears encounter the Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) in a Suburban East bout, on Tuesday, January 10. White Bear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 55-47 non-league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN).
