Arizona High School Basketball - Deer Valley thwarts North Canyon

(December 8, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85024) The Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) basketball felled the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 48-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Skyhawks (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers go into the I Section III test with a 8-1 record.

The Rattlers now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a I Section III test on Tuesday, December 13. North Canyon will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 67-59 league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.
