Chaminade Flyers football squad scored a tight
14-7 triumph over the
Monsignor Farrell Lions.
The Flyers now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host
St. Joseph-by-the-Sea for a
Catholic AAA challenge on Saturday, October 7.
Chaminade will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a
36-35 league loss to
St. Anthony's (Melville, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat,
Monsignor Farrell moves to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to
Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY) to clash with the Mountaineers in a
Catholic AAA challenge on Saturday, October 7. The Mountaineers go into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Mt. St. Michael Academy won
14-0 in their recent league challenge against
Holy Cross (Flushing, NY)
