Virginia High School Lacrosse - Grassfield overwhelms Kellam
(March 7, 2011: Virginia Beach, VA 23455) The Grassfield Grizzlies triumphed over the host Kellam Knights lacrosse squad by a score of 11-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the triumph, Grassfield upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Freelance bout on Friday, April 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
With the defeat, Kellam drops to 0-1 on the year. The Knights host Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 9. The Hawks enter the test with a record of 0-1. Hickory lost 16-8 in their recent league test against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)
