Arizona High School Basketball - Sabino nips Cholla
(December 29, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85749) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Sabino's basketball squad tip Cholla by a margin of 57-53.
The Sabercats (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Buena got by Marana (Tucson, AZ), 64-30, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Cholla will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 1-9.
