North Carolina High School Volleyball - Broughton tips Panther Creek

(October 24, 2009: Cary, NC 27519) The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) and the host Panther Creek Catamount (Cary, NC), saw Broughton's volleyball squad nip Panther Creek by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Broughton upgrades its record to 17-11 on the year. The Capitals travel to Person (Roxboro, NC) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 27. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 23-4. Person won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC)

With the loss, Panther Creek drops to 1-4 on the campaign.
