(January 17, 2012: Temecula, CA 92591) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) and the visiting Temecula Valley Golden Bears (Temecula, CA), saw Chaparral's basketball squad hold off Temecula Valley by a score of 75-73.

With the victory, Chaparral improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Great Oak (Temecula, CA) to battle the Wolfpack in a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Wolfpack go into the outing with a record of 12-7. Great Oak lost 60-56 in their recent league outing against Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA)

The Golden Bears now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murrieta Mesa for a Southwestern outing on Thursday, January 19. Temecula Valley will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 63-62 league loss to Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Rams record now stands at 14-6.
