(December 29, 2011: Orlando, FL 32819) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL) and the visiting Nova Titans (Davie, FL), saw Dr. Phillips's basketball squad knock off Nova by a score of 68-53.
With the victory, Dr. Phillips improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host West Orange (Winter Garden, FL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 18-1. West Orange won 61-44 in their recent non-league contest against Colonial (Orlando, FL)
The Titans (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast (Oakland Park, FL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Northeast beat Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
