California High School Basketball - Piedmont Hills holds off Willow Glen

(January 10, 2012: San Jose, CA 95125) Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA), 48-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Piedmont Hills upgrades its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Mount Hamilton bout on Thursday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Sobrato lost 69-53 in their recent league bout against Leigh (San Jose, CA)

Next, the Rams clash with the Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a Mount Hamilton test, on Thursday, January 12. Willow Glen will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 8-5 record after their 48-27 league win over Leland (San Jose, CA).
