Maryland High School Basketball - Kent County prevails Kent Island
(January 31, 2012: Worton, MD 21678) Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD), 66-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Kent County upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Easton (Easton, MD) to play the Warriors in a Bayside - North bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) in a Bayside - North bout, on Thursday, February 2. Kent Island will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 73-55 league win over Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD).
