(October 26, 2007: Barbourville, KY 40906) The Knox Central Panthers football team (Barbourville, KY), was beaten 27-6 in Friday's non-league match with the visiting Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY)

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 2. Pulaski County will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 0-9 record after their 28-7 non-league loss to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Holy Cross was toppled by Kenton (Independence, KY), 21-13, in a non-league match.
