California High School Basketball - Compton falls to Loyola

(November 30, 2011: Los Angeles, CA 90006) The Loyola Cubs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Compton Tarbabes to 57 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cubs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redondo Union for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Loyola will confront a Sea Hawks team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 2-0.

The Tarbabes (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Palisades was defeated by Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA), 55-52, in a non-league contest.
