California High School Basketball - North Monterey County nudges Pajaro Valley
(January 24, 2012: Watsonville, CA 95076) In Tuesday's league outing, the North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA) basketball squad edged the host Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA), by a count of 66-60.
The Condors (6-13) will now prepare for their outing against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Toreadores go into the Monterey Bay outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Monterey nipped Seaside (Seaside, CA), 81-56, in a league outing.
The Grizzlies now hold a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monte Vista Christian for a Monterey Bay outing on Thursday, January 26. Pajaro Valley will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 43-39 league loss to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-6.
