Texas High School Basketball - Yates crushes Lee

(December 27, 2011: Houston, TX 77057) Yates Lions (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lee Generals (Houston, TX), 65-2 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Yates upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Navasota (Navasota, TX) to play the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Rattlers come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Navasota won 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Snook (Snook, TX)

Next up, the Generals play the Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 4A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 48-5 non-league loss to Lee (Baytown, TX).
